Friends of Rockhound State Park |

The Friends of Rockhound (FOR) is a non-profit volunteer organization
whose purpose is to assist the New
Mexico Parks Department to enhance, preserve, and promote the use of
Rockhound State Park. FOR
helps in many ways with interpretive programs, educational programs and
special events. The Park has a new Visitor Center with many displays and a
Native Plant Demonstration Garden dedicated to the interpretation of the
Chihuahuan Desert.
All of our activities and money raised are used to benefit Rockhound State Park and its visitors. How can I help the Friends of Rockhound? The best way for you to help is to become a one! Your ability to give of your time and the degree of your commitment is totally up to you-any help that you give, no matter how small, is appreciated. |
